Empowering North Idaho Students Through Career Technical Education
Learn About Our MissionEmpowering North Idaho's Future Workforce

The Career Technical Education Center (CTEC) of North Idaho is a proposed initiative to provide rural students in Bonner and Boundary Counties with access to robust Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. The center will be modeled after the successful KTEC program, offering students hands-on learning and industry-relevant education to increase graduation rates and prepare them for high-demand jobs in the region.
The Vision
CTEC will serve students from three districts—West Bonner County, Boundary County, and Lake Pend Oreille School District. It will be located in Ponderay, with funding from the ICRS grant for Phase 1 and local funds for subsequent phases.
Our Commitment
The Rotary Club of Sandpoint sees the value that this program will provide to our community and is raising funds to augment the North Idaho CTEC efforts. This project addresses the region's workforce needs and provides essential opportunities for students, businesses, and the community.
